I would really love to hear from people who worked or have memories of these classic restaurants, bars, buildings, hotels and movie palaces (or owned/own them of course), especially the places that are now gone.  Many of these people simply do not realize how important their memories of these places are.  Those times will never be repeated and we have to put this history down in writing to preserve it.  Maitre d's, waiters, owners,  sons and daughters or relatives of owners or even people with memories of eating in these places - please write me and tell me of your experiences and I'll post them on the website if possible.

Anyone who wants to scan as a jpeg (and allow me to use without restriction or remuneration, and possibly subject to my copyright or my use for some future, as of yet unrealized, abundant financial gain) matchbooks, menus, and Postcards which were made before 1964 and have no copyright symbol from old restaurants and bars - I'll gladly accept any emailed donations to post (Los Angeles Metro - including San Diego, San Francisco and Las Vegas in my opinion - we're all one big happy family).

And of course, any suggestions for places I have not listed are always welcome. Restaurant owners - if you see any inaccurate facts - please let me know and they will be changed.
